Meet Erika Devile, owner of Widow's Blow

When she’s not blasting Motörhead, while on the road to another wild adventure, you’ll find Erika hunting for vintage treasures or creating one of a kind pieces for her collection. Her mind is always ten steps ahead, and her tenacious attitude will always keep the fire blazing. Her bold and unapologetic style stands as the back bone of the label, which is fuelled by her enthusiastic way of life.

Widow’s Blow represents the idea that everyone is unique, with a story to tell and has the right to a second chance. Each of these pieces were meticulously curated and redesigned for a whole new life.

Widow’s Blow is writing new stories for clothing with a history!

Widow’s Blow specializes in Rock, Alternative biker style. Nostalgia is at the heart of WB, this is why we guarantee that the vintage section is 100% vintage. Each item was personally hand-picked by me. There is no representation. Vintage means pre-owned or deadstock items about 20 years or older. Restorations to the originals were made based on the condition of the piece. Vintage doesn’t mean only one ever made, but we guarantee you that each piece is unique.

Widow's Blow Made

Widow’s Blow Made are all recycled & re-worked pieces. Each item was personally selected and has been altered, modified, and embellished by the creator. Modifications to the originals, both big and small, vintage or not are added based on the condition of the piece, mood of the creator, and are all done by hand and on an individual basis; no two are alike. Every piece you find under the Widow’s Blow Made section are created from truly found and upcycled pieces, these aren’t reproductions. This ensures that all items are unique and can never be replicated.

Slow fashion is the future

For a while now we’ve let the fast fashion become our way of shopping; compulsive and excessive consumption, purchasing cheaper and disposable items & we became fashion followers; instead of leading and creating our own unique style.

WB is all about Slow Fashion. We use vintage pieces as the core of the collection since we consider that enough materials and fabrics have been produced from the past till now.
We are proud to take part in this turning point in the world in fashion by also:

💘 Encouraging local workforce; all designs are made here, in Montreal, Canada
💘 Using a minimum amount of new materials; the goal is to show you can have beautiful products with fabrics that already exists.
💘 Small production; yes a smaller production means that the sizes and colors are limited, but the goal is to use and save as much fabric as possible.
💘 Recycling; we recycle at every step of the production; from the item itself, to the tags, to the shipping package, all has been thought and designed to reduce our ecological footprint.
